Work...But Nearly Over

Where have I been?

Teaching at the John C. Campbell School of Folk Art in North Carolina.

Picture to yourself 5 whole days of being able to stitch pretty much anything you want in the quilt department. The studio's large and comfortable, with big windows that look out over the trees. And you've got friendly company to do it with.

Hopefully that's been my students' feelings while they've been involved with "Quilting: From A-Z."

But after four solid days -- and lot of late nights -- we're ready to stitch the blocks to sashing, then into a top. We also practice machine and hand quilting tomorrow.

It's been fun.
